....Grimmagstone....

So i can't help but feel like a total idiot for asking for help here but hey....I need help. I literally just started playing today. I just entered into the Grimmagstone area and got all the way to the end of it. Now I need to find Grimmag's grave....however, I can't.....there is literally nothing else in this area. the only thing that happens is that if I stand at the end of the walkway by the bridge long enough...this thing appears that I can not attack. though it just appears, looks like it is going to attack and then dissapears. maybe a glitch? anyways, some guidence would be nice

 

After that monster disappears, several others ought to spawn. After killing them, you head to the right of that chamber and out. I'm on my phone or I'd give you the link to the wiki for that quest so you could see it in pictures as opposed to words.

 

Ok, so I guess I already did that. I should have probably made it clearer as to where I am. I am outside the high hall and have made it all the way down to the fortress hall. I've defeated everything. When I try and talk to Vithrandir and click on the quest all he says is "#N.N."

 

I think I'll need to give you the link when I get to my real computer.

Hello there. I have made a small tutorial regarding that quest (Sacrilege in Grimmagstone 3/3).

You need to find the Grimmag's grave ... actually this is the area you need to find ... it is not a grave or any object. You can notice the name on the minimap.



When you enter that area the quests automatically changes ... you don't need to do anything.
Now you need to kill the Veiled Cultist.



After you kill the Veiled Cultist ... this portal opens automatically and all you need to do is to enter.



At the end of the next map you will find the Undead Grimmag ... you will have to kill it.



After you kill that guy you will have to speak with Master Vithrandir



Master Vithrandir is giving you a new quest and another portal opens next to you ... enter the portal and you are exiting the tutorial maps and heading to the first town Grimford.



I made these screenshots few minutes ago ... so it must be working for you as well.

 

I killed the Undead Grimmag............Master Vithrandir is NOT giving me a new quest......no question mark, not arrow......nothing

 

just make a new char and start from scratch, maybe the second time you'll do it right. you're only level 5 anyway.
Maybe the mission is bugged

 

Either contact the support or try from start (delete the character and start a new one).

 

yeah...this is happen to me too....this is kinda one of those MAJOR glitches that should get top priority to get fixed. Really turns people away from the game when they can't get more than a hour or so into it without having to start over.

I took about a 1 month break from this game after getting stuck at this point early on...nice to see its still not resolved!
