    Hey guys,

So I have noticed that since the recent event, the drop rate in PW's for any good stuff worth keeping (gems, andermant etc.) has dropped substantially. It is especially apparent when I used to farm 4-5k andermant a day solo in q3, today i just got 2k after heavier-than-usual grind.

I dont think thats merely a coincidence, the more I play the less stuff drops. As I said earlier, it occured when the event kicked in. In the morning my drop rate was fine. Now im getting Maximum one andermant stack per entire q3 map (map1 or map2).

    Cheers,

    Elve.

I don't know what to say... Oh yes I do.

You know a smart person posts info like this in the feedback thread. The mods spend so much time thinking up was to gather feedback. The really do want our feedback it gives them info to pass along. Reguardless of what ANYONE says the mods want something to pass along more than nothing. So they created a feedback thread for us to provide info.

From my experience while farming the event my drops have been better and inside both maps most of the drops have been 2h weapons, which is really helpful.

Also inside the normal map yesterday one mob dropped the leg king's gloves, maybe I am just being extra lucky during the event,

Drop rates cycle. It's a result of the programmed randomness in the game. And it's just as reliable as the payouts on the blackjack table at Vegas. Statistical parameters, frequencies, boundaries, etc., are set by the program. They can be reset by programmers, or by server changes.

There are patterns for what items drop most, just like there are patterns for the number of each type of minion in an instance.
Variety reduces boredom, and the patterns are carefully programmed. I thought some patterns run for days, maybe weeks, but haven't kept score lately.

It seems even great drops have a small window over a long period of time. When the jesters are hot, they can be very, very hot. There are more times when they are very, very cold. It does really bite, when the drops drop off to 1/2 their average values, and stay there too long.

You should notice that the total value of a map is fairly consistent. The total value in gold or melts stays about the same for each map. But there can be major spikes when you hit a streak of big drops, or a rare drop or unique.

Many players have noticed a bonus, when you first enter a map. It's common manipulation, to let the new win a few at the beginning. It keeps them coming back for more.

I think big money and OP players get to choose from more top shelf prizes, but that is just opinion.
It may be that the programs are starving us, through BP neglect or design. They certainly are in no rush to fix the lousy drops after 155.

Anyone at BP listening? Reacting? Making meaningful changes?

Drop rates have been pretty good inside the event maps. Probably 3 or 4 legendaries, including a 3 slot chestpiece with 1x hp, 1x armor, 2x increased weapon damage (for 10.4% total) that i will stash for now in case i ever complete the warlord set on my dwarf...

Nop, ander stacks still not dropping in q3. Seems that the 'impure viscanium' is overriding the standard drop table. Entire run with 0 ander stacks over and over seems like no coincidence.

I assume they dont want endgame players to become overpowered on lvl 50 again so quickly.
Decreased average stats on leg items,
    decreased effectivness of glyphs,
highly increased monster upscaling for lvl 50,
decreased droprate of special gems at the casino,
nerfed use of elemental resistance, armor and critical.

I see a pattern there, but it still is an assumption. Cant blame them, overpowered players are fun to be but they create further problems. So if I am right this will not change.

Well before the 155 release everyone was OP with 45-50 gear killing 45 bosses and mobs, now things have changed, we are facing mobs with the same lvl as our gear 50*, to be OP again as we used to be, there is only one way, farming and grinding again and again,

I have read Haruki wrote about a decrease on the price to upgrade gear specially from lvl 53-55.

I am using lvl 50 to lvl 55 gear atm. Still I cant do the same stuff as on lvl 45. An aspect many dont see is that gems are limited. Once you got your gems around sacred there is not much room to grow.
What is missing to be op again are op sets, which will come at some point I guess. This will have an even greater impact since the random items are all going to the melting pot since R155.

Personally I am finding that all drop rates have declined since r155, but even more since the Viscanium event. Now all I seem to get is impure viscanium. And I am not doing the event, so it is even more frustrating.

Well as any other "big" event we have once in a while, everything you see or heard inside the game is around it, I'll suggest to try to do the challenges, those jesters gems are very useful when you are trying to make 1 royal, it's reduce the ander cost by 1/3!!!!
