Removing or lowering the time on cross sword buffs in 5vs5

There are a lot of people that in 5vs5 that just like to farm buffs then they think they are good bc they can 2 hit a person with a buff but takes 5 or more hits with out it. I think should come down to gems gear and skills in pvp no buffs so u can really tall who is betting then another and so the person that might die some times knows he might want to farm gems or gear so he/she can get better.

 

Get the buff before they do.

It helps if one of the dps characters playing defense times their toon to get the defensive side buff.

 

u can be running every 30 -45 secs to get a buff when ur in pvp u have people that just set there and farm buffs bc they know they can't kill no one with out them. Like i said it should just come to gems, gear, and skills in pvp no buff thats helps you out for 30 secs.

 

If that's the case, 2 go and kill the guy sitting on the buff

 

I don't mind the ones that sit and wait for the buff because that means that they are useless in between. Also, it usually takes very little effort to jump across, kill them, and then take the buff that they were waiting for. On the other hand, I hate/respect the ones who have the timing down perfect so that they always know when it will spawn and then they are on the field the rest of the time... the top 5-10 on the 5v5 leader-boards are like that and when I see them on the other team, I know that I'm fighting an uphill battle the entire match. In particular, there is a certain ranger on Agathon who does just this can who can carry even the crappiest team with his 40-2 K/D ratios.

 

Yes,thats the thing i do,usually if i take buff,and capture the flag in my base,the buff comes back,so its like you dont have to wait for it.
