There are a slew of videos that go into to more detail but for a tank you will need red essence and a 2 hand weapon that is really good. Start as a base with one that is around 400+ dps. This is not the only place to stop but a start. For the rest of your gear you will need to bring you damage to over 1750 damage if your going to go at it with a group. If you have a good support for killing the ghosts and the random Knights then I suggest you can focus on defence and hp. Take a hundred hp pots or more per fight. Rage pots are suggested at 30.

You need a lot more damage. Tanking mortis 1H is tricky even with reds because it takes a while to bring the hp down. You probably want to go 2H if you're gonna be the lead tank, plus 2H cuts down the essence usage.

You might want to team up with 1 or 2 other dks (attacking mortis) and 2-3 soulkillers (who throw the occasional attack on mortis, but dont take aggro,) to improve your chances.

You've gotten some nice luck with uniques, but what you really need (as my "colleagues" told you) is a good 2H weapon. In the build in your pictures, you'd be able to stay alive, but you won't be able to keep agro if other people hit too often, and if they don't, it will take a while for you to take him down, even with reds. HP pots... about 20-30 a fight is reasonable until you learn the pattern to the attacks and can avoid 70%-80% of his burst damage from his heaviest attacks.

It's too bad that you didn't finish the Warlord cloak as that would have made a HUGE difference in your future 2H build. With respect to finding a good 2H, that can take quite some time. In the short term (Weeks to Months) you could settle for the Steam Axe bought in the Dwarf city for 9600 andermant (if bought while on sale). With it's 100% weapon damage, 300 crit, 4 slots, and cheap upgrade costs, that will get you down the right road (just make sure to load the thing up with rubies). My Steam Axe took care of my for about 9-12 months while I was looking for a truly good 2H sword.

Don't forget to start saving for the 1k gold cloak. It takes a long while to farm the gold... especially if spending on crafting legendaries.
