which gems where

    hi i am a bit stuck on which gems are best for my dk im lvl 40 and base damage is pretty poor about 290 ish i usually play pve but i will be doing pvp at a later date i was wondering if u guys could help me on which gems i should be using

    Hi -grumblehogg-,

    The answer for that is easy...since you won't be playing PvP.
    80% of your gems should be health gems 10 or 15 % all resistance and 5 or 10 % armor or no armor at all.

    When you do start PvP, I recommend 50/50 of health/all resistance gems or 60/40 depending on your gear.

    I use red damage gems on my weapon, blue speed gems on my adornment. I do pvp so I have 4 special gems in my helmet and for the rest(not including helmet), probably 50% resist gems, 35% health gems and 15% armor gems, as I have almost no resist on my gear. i don't use crit black gems.

    If I was level 40 and not doing pvp I would favor HP gems over resist gems as Bearer of Death suggested.
