Full moon event

Hello, I am new and this is my first time for this event, first I used my pass to verholm and there I found robina, I got 2 quests from her, I have read the faq, but it did not help me much, I do not know how to proceed, I am with out the essence or buffs, so I can't kill the monsters, also I cant find the npc shady jhon as per the faq, I understand it is night time, is there any timer to indicate, how much long is the night or when the day is coming, and since I am in the middle east I do not know about the server timer, I play on heredur if I spell it wrong forgive me, the last question, is the event timer related to the server timer?

 

It will be night time in Varholm until the 7th. It is a 3 day event and will count down in the event window. If you can't find Shady John to buy ess, you can click on the scales at the top of the screen and go to the event tab, it is shaped like a chalice. There you can buy the items you need for ander. You will need either silver ess or the timed scrolls. Killing the wolves will drop the event progress items. When you get enough of those you will get Blood which can be used to summon the Boss on the left side of the screen. You can also buy the Summoning blood.

Very welcome, I remember how intimidating, and fun the events were the first time through. Soon you'll be an old hand escorting new peeps through the map.

 

about shady jhon do you know where to find him, does he have ane quests?

 

During the event he does not have any quests. Outside the event he is located in the event map and has a quest that converts silver essence to 5 minute timed scrolls. I don't recall if he is in the map during events or not, but if he is he would just be a vendor offering the same items available from the event tab.

Excuse me for interrupting, but your question does bring up an interesting point. Several moderators play the game incognito. They may post in the forum as users, but that was former status.
Moderators can play like the rest of us, but they have additional obligations. I don't think their true position was ever transparent.
