Mods, so where did Jullov go anyway?

Seeing that the last quest is kill the never there mythical npc, what happened to him? Day one of event you could find him in at least 2 of the 4 maps but since they reset chests and adjusted his in game presence, I don't know of anyone who has seen him in days. What is up with that?

 

Found him in 150 pearl map yesterday, that was the last time i saw him.

 

Wait ... you are saying Jullov is part of this event too??
Why is he avoiding me?

 

First 3 days of event he was present like every 6th - 7th entry to the map, after that i haven't seen him either.

 

last 2 maps i had a map with him, first times this event

 

I have seen him in all four maps. He does exist, but his chance of showing up is very low. Also, the chance of getting something you want out of those chests is low too, so good luck. I have seen useless junk, battle tokens, and draken but in the end, it all comes down to chance.

 

I've seen him twice in excavation and three times in battleground... 2 pumpkins, 2 ravens, 20 draken, and a couple of worthless temp emotes. I haven't heard of anyone getting anything worth bragging about..

 

Well i was happy to get 30 tokens + something unimportant.

 

I have gotten the jullov key about 4 times, nothing special in the drops. One pumpkin and 30 victory tokens were in some of the rewards

 

So if quest 8 is kill Jullov in each map then we're pretty much not going to get it done is my guess. I have been in every map sooooooo many times and have only seen Jullov in any before they reset the chests. After that, haven't seen him anywhere.

 

So I started 8 of 8 and someone should put out a BOLO for Jullov because I never found him in the Excavation site. Guessing this will just be some random chance encounter and take a lot of time at this snore fest which has becoming way too much farming for pearls.

Please someone tell us the odds of completing 8 of 8 if Jullov is found randomly.

 

What you need to do is get your guild on board. Everyone goes in solo and if someone finds Julov, they invite 4 friends. I finished the 8/8 quest, and i was only responsible for one of the 4 finds (the 150 map). The 30, 60, and 100 maps were found by my friends and they were kind enough to share.

Was there anything special in the final crate?

 

Twice I got victory tokens, once I got Draken, and in the 150 map, I got Professor Jullov's Monster. In an amusing turn of irony, I got the emote from both the burning crate and the normal crate.

 

I got a polished gem and a full gem, dye, health pots, 20 drak, and a few other random items.

I wouldn't say it was a "wow" crate. Ended up burning over 1800 pearls to complete it and that was with a point out from a guildie in Sulfur desert that had him. Hardest map for me was map 1/excavation, made 25ish trips and felt like christmas when i found him.

 

god help us all...

 

Part 8/8 does not sound very encouraging at all... especially if a mod is bluntly noting this. Finished 6/8, will work on 7/8 tomorrow with my partner-in-crime, but still leery whether to bother 8/8 since with work, I don't know if I will have enough time left in the event to finish it.

 

Getting one Jullov in each map isn't that hard. I did it within four hours and finished the quest chain. That being said I'm trying to find the parts for the Batty Gremlin pet and I still need Jullov's burning pumpkin in Sulfur Desert. I've been doing that for several days now but every time I get Jullov it's another costume or 20 draken.
