After the event ended i deleted temp files and flushed dns. Wheni entered DSO client after that i wanted to create hotkes again. It seems that i can't use numpad (numbers 2, 4, 6, 8) i get notice that i cannot use these keys because "they are already used for a non-configurable function". Guess it has sth to do with event ending, or maybe sth else...

Generally, you have no choices when it comes settings in this game. The "remap-keys" didn´t help much. If you look at other games, in the setting menu, you see lots of both gameplaysettings, but also technical settings that many don´t even understand.
I have ended up using macro-software for every keybinding and gameplay option. That way i can actually play the way i like.

I don´t know many macro-programs, but i can tell that im using razer synapse 2.0(only useable with razer keyboards), and it works perfectly for me. Its simple, there is uncountable possibilities and it works every time(unlike BP).
You can just look around on the internet, it should be pretty easy to find something usefull.

    GL!

Try to reassign them manually. Locate the settings.xml file in TEMP/DSOClient.

How did you assign the keys?
What codes did you use to assign the keys?

Right click the file and open it with notepad.
In settings (for desired key) try to insert these codes:
    9 --- KP_PGUP

    8 --- KP_UPARROW

    7 --- KP_HOME

    6 --- KP_RIGHTARROW

    5 --- KP_5

    4 --- KP_LEFTARROW

    3 --- KP_PGDN

    2 --- KP_DOWNARROW

    1 --- KP_END

Codes on the right are representing the numapd's key code.
For an example if you wish to use numpad 1 key you should enter KP_END
Try and see if this works ... I have never tested it :D I had no need of it since I am using default buttons.

i wish they let us use space keys for skills again it could be easy to reach with your thumb and its such a waste to not use a big button like space bar

Agreed. That's why I still use the program I always used before they came up with their incomplete key-binding scenario.

I'm not allowed to post a link, but I think I can list the name of it. It's called AutoHotkey. It's free to download and use. The help file can tell you everything you need to write the commands.

Why not ... it is utility for your PC not for the game. Your PC is your private property.

It's just a forum rule about link posting. I posted the link before, and it was deleted even though it is a free program. We are allowed to post names of programs, but not links to their websites I guess.

There is a little bit of simple coding needed. It shouldn't take too long to learn. The biggest issue is probably going to be making a "suspend" key so if you assign letters to commands you can type normally in chat. I assigned the backslash key ( \ ) to suspend all hotkeys, since I don't need it for anything else in normal activities. Good luck. You can ask me here if you need any pointers.

No problem, hope it works for you.

I couldn't get used to typing with keys other than what they normally are so I created the suspend hotkey function on the backslash key because it is just above the [Enter] key that I use to start typing. Usually, I remember to suspend hotkeys before chatting, but sometimes I forget and it looks like this - "hehomviyoudoen7odvy" (hi how are you doing today) - because I have t=7, space=shift, a=v, i=e, m=w, etc, etc, etc. This is designed so that I never have to move my hand from the main key-bank, or look at the keyboard, but not good for typing in chat :D
